Schloss Büchsenhausen, St. Nikolaus, Innsbruck

A recent discovery at the other side of the valley, in a part of town called St.Nikolaus.
I have passed by several times with the “J” bus on the way to Hungerburg but I was on bike this time.
So I took some photos from what I was seeing. The castle complex is huge and is privatly owned.
It used to be a bell and weapon foundry, beer brewery and wine cellar. For the full story, see the homepage > Geschichte Schloss Büchsenhausen
Look at that staircase! It’s dying for wedding shootings.Actually they DO organize wedding receptions there. They even have their own church. It’s like a little village on its own. Can someone invite me, please? 😀
I asked for permission to take photos inside. Unfortunately they replied that the rooms are private property and are not to be visited.
